How You Receive Support
Everything your organization receives arrives as Reward Points, spent inside the Shop Local Rewards network. There are two ways to receive them.
Get listed as a Local Cause
Free. Members choose one cause to support, and yours can be on the list.
For your first 12 months, Shop Local Rewards donates 5 Reward Points every month to the cause of your choice.
Those Reward Points come from Shop Local Rewards’ own funds. Members can also send Reward Points they have earned to your organization, and you spend them at participating local businesses and in the Rewards Mall.

Your school or nonprofit sells Tap & Go Rewards Cards to supporters. Supporters attach to your cause automatically, and you receive Reward Points you can use to help offset expenses.

Being listed as a cause is free. There is no fee to an organization.
Shop Local Rewards never collects money for your organization and never sends money to it.
Contributions are made in Reward Points, not cash. They are not tax-deductible and no tax receipts are issued.
