Shop Local Rewards — Privacy & Data Sharing Agreement This is a separate agreement from the Member Code of Conduct. Both must be accepted to join. What we collect: When you join Shop Local Rewards, we collect your name, mailing address, cell phone number, email address, interest profile, and cause selection. When you use the platform, we collect your purchase history, reward activity, and interactions with participating merchants. How we use your data: We use your information to operate your rewards account, process reward earnings and contributions, match you with participating merchants and causes in your area, and send you notifications about the Shop Local Rewards network. We may use aggregated and anonymized data to report on network activity and growth. What we share and with whom: By joining Shop Local Rewards, you authorize us to share your data with Shop Local Rewards, its affiliates, and its partners, which may include but is not limited to: participating merchants in the Shop Local Rewards network; causes and charitable organizations you select or that match your interest profile; marketing partners and advertisers who wish to reach members with relevant local offers; city and regional managers operating within the Shop Local Rewards network; analytics and technology service providers who help us operate the platform; law enforcement or legal authorities when required by law or to protect the safety of our members and merchants. Data monetization: Shop Local Rewards may share, license, or sell member data including interest profiles, purchase behavior, and demographic information to third-party partners, advertisers, and affiliates for marketing, research, and commercial purposes. All data shared for commercial purposes will be used in accordance with applicable law. By accepting this agreement you expressly consent to this use of your data. Marketing communications: By joining, you agree to receive emails and text messages from Shop Local Rewards, its affiliates, and its partners about your rewards balance, network updates, new merchants in your area, special offers, and Shop Local Samaritan Fund campaigns. You may opt out of third-party marketing communications at any time by updating your preferences in your account settings. Transactional messages related to your account activity cannot be opted out of while your account is active. Data retention: If you close your account or are terminated, we retain your transaction and reward history for a minimum of seven years for financial and legal compliance purposes. Personal profile data will be deleted upon written request, subject to this retention requirement. Security: We take reasonable measures to protect your data in accordance with Louisiana's Database Security Breach Notification Law. In the event of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law. Your rights: You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your personal profile data (subject to retention requirements above) by contacting us at support@shoplocalrewards.org. Changes to this agreement: We may update this Privacy & Data Sharing Agreement at any time. When we do, you will be required to review and re-accept the updated agreement before continuing to use the platform.
